Pre-school Pizza Party
November 18, 2008We had over a dozen pre-school kids show up yesterday morning (before we were open) for a field trip at Paizano’s. They were wearing the cutest ball caps, with a cut-out of a pizza slice that they had colored earlier in the day.
The troops marched into the kitchen and watched Whitey toss a Giant Pizza into one of our slice pies. We told them to pay close attention, as they were going to get to make their own pizzas in just a little bit.
After washing their tiny hands, they sat out in the dining room awaiting their mini pizza doughs.
We showed them how to smear the sauce, and to top the “red stuff” with cheese. They were having an absolute blast doing it.

After topping their pies, they lined up in the kitchen and had Whitey slide them into the oven to bake.

It only took a few minutes for these tiny pizzas to cook… and we delivered them to the expectant kids waiting in the dining room.

Have you ever seen cuter faces in your life? Kids are never happier than when there’s pizza in front of them.

After wrapping the leftovers to take home, the kids sang the “Pizza Song” for us, which I was able to get on video for your enjoyment as well….
The last line in the song are words to live by.
